Statues pt. 1

Vanderbilt University seems to have an array of statues littered all over there campuses.  I just had to share them here with you!

First you have to start with "Commodore" Cornelius Vanderbilt who gave the money to found the university way back when in 1873.
He greets everyone as they enter into the main turnaround on campus.

Here I found this woman looking so stately on her rock.
She is one of the few with a nameplate next to her.  She is in honor of all the women attending Vanderbilt.

I stumbled upon this statue hidden under some tree.
Maybe its hidden because they don't know what it's supposed to represent either?  and why do sculptors never include clothes?

This one is rather unique.
There are three little guys just hanging out in a circle.  Oh, and they are anatomically correct too (I spared you that shot)

Not all statues are people.  There are some just random stuff for no apparent reason all over campus.
